Inaugural Session: Book Release

The author of the book and the two Editors of the edited book to speak on the content of the two Books: (1) GOVERNANCE INSTITUTIONS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: EMERGING CHINA, INDIA, EAST ASIA AND BRAZIL authored by Kartik Roy and Published by the World Scientific Company and (2) Developmental State and Millennium Development Goals by Kartik Roy and Dr. Sandip Kar. Dr. Sandip Kar as the co-editor of the edited book on Developmental State and Millennium Development Goals: Country Experiences will speak first on the general theme running through the book and the Principal Editor Kartik Roy will speak last on the theme of the book at the book launch ceremony.

* The above noted session may be held in the afternoon of 7th June and the Seminar may conclude on 7th June evening.

* The agreement with the hotel to lower the cost of accommodation, meals as well as to make the convention room available for the seminar at a moderate cost is based on the clear understanding on the part of the hotel that all delegates will take their lunch and dinner at this hotel by payment by each delegate of the required amount to buy a coupon from the reception at the lobby of the hotel for 5th June Dinner as well as for 6th and 7th June Dinner .
